Image Acquisition Apparatus

Below is a sketch of the sample-holding fixture that is currently being constructed.  It will hold 36 Petri plates and provide white LED illumination to each unit cell.  A three-axis robot will move the camera to image each of the samples in the grid at programmable time intervals.
